As president of WellSpan Health, Bartels oversees the overall operations of the health services organization.
Prior to joining WellSpan in 1998, Bartels was president of York Health System and York Hospital for 10 years. Before that, he served in various administrative positions at several hospitals nationwide.
Bartels is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
