Scott Downing is executive vice president over supply chain management for VHA Inc. Having worked for VHA for the past nine years, Downing has worked in health care for more than 19 years, with specific focus on the health care supply chain. His expertise includes: developing effective strategies and implementation for organization wide supply chain improvement, sourcing strategies, and developing unique and customized relationships between VHA and its members. His current responsibilities include leading all aspects of VHA Supply Chain services and strategies:

• Consolidated Logistics
• Spend Analytics

Prior to joining VHA, Downing spent 10 years with Sanofi Winthrop Pharmaceuticals, with sales and sales management responsibilities for both the physician and acute care markets.
Downing holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Ft. Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
