Byron Jobe is group senior vice president for VHA Inc.

Jobe comes to VHA from Irving-based Healthvision, which provides Web-based clinical solutions and services for regional health information organizations, physicians and hospitals nationwide. While serving as the CFO at Healthvision, Jobe helped the company grow from its infancy in 1999 to a $20 million company in less than 24 months. In 2004 Jobe was promoted to the position of chief operating officer/chief financial officer for Healthvision. He was responsible for the company's business operations, finance, accounting, HR, professional services, MIS operations and software development functions. He also led the company on two acquisitions and one divestiture. Finally, he helped the company complete several rounds of debt and equity based financing which ultimately position the company for its merger with Quovadx Inc. in 2007.

Prior to joining Healthvision in 1999, Jobe worked for five years at VHA, first as a director in corporate planning and business development, and for the last three years as senior director overseeing finances and revenue for three business units. Prior to VHA, Jobe was a finance manager at Baylor Health Care System in Dallas. From 1990 to 1992, he was an auditor at Price Waterhouse, having experience in real estate, health care and manufacturing industries.

Jobe has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas A&M University, and he is a certified public accountant. He also served on the board of management for the YMCA in Irving, Texas, and was recognized with the Sam Winstead award for helping raise scholarship funds for under privileged youth in the community.
