Nonomaque has served as president and chief executive officer of VHA since 2003.

Nonomaque joined VHA in 1986 as a financial analyst with VHA Enterprises before becoming assistant treasurer of the subsidiary company a year later. In 1989, he was appointed vice president and treasurer for both VHA Inc. and VHA Enterprises. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer in 1992 and to executive vice president in 1996.

Before joining VHA, Nonomaque served as a banking officer for First City Bank in Dallas and a management consultant with Arthur Andersen and Co.

Nonomaque has served on several boards as president and chairman for both professional and community organizations.
