Randy Cowart
Vice President, Contract and Program Services

Randy Cowart serves as vice president contract & program services. In his role he provides oversight for NOVAPLUS®, Standardization and Non-Acute.

Prior to this he was vice president, supply chain, United Kingdom for Novation. Cowart was responsible for providing integrated supply chain management services to Britain’s National Health Service. He led the strategic and operations functions related to procurement; supervises all contracting activities; and is responsible for linking with DHL, Novation’s logistics partner, in support of their sales activities.

With more than 28 years’ experience in supply chain development, sourcing and procurement, Cowart most recently served as vice president supply chain and procurement at the Sealy Corporation in Trinity, North Carolina. He also held the position of senior vice president and chief purchasing officer with Springs Industries, in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Bringing extensive experience working in the global marketplace, Cowart has held positions as general manager sourcing - Europe for General Electric Power Controls in Barcelona, Spain and as general manager sourcing - South East Asia for General Electric Appliances in Hong Kong. He also worked at Wal-Mart's Corporate Offices for 14 years.

He earned his bachelor’s in political science/economics from the University of Missouri.
