Maryann S. Restino, PharmD, BCPS
Vice President, Contract and Program Services

Maryann Restino is vice president of contract and program services at Novation. Restino is responsible for the surgery, anesthesia and orthopedics contracting portfolios as well as Novation’s clinical and physician preference programs.

Prior to joining VHA in 1997, she was Assistant Director of Pharmacy responsible for clinical and educational programs at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, affiliated with Wake Forest University and Bowman Gray School of Medicine. While in North Carolina, she also held faculty positions at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine and at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University. Before this, she held full-time faculty positions at The University of Texas and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. Dr. Restino is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist since 1993. She has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and has authored 150 publications in the medical literature.

Dr. Restino earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and a two-year post-BS Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She also completed an ASHP-accredited specialty residency at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia.
