Based in Irving, Texas, Novation is the contracting services company for two national health care alliances, VHA and University HealthSystem Consortium. Novation employees work to manage and reduce supply costs for more than 2,500 members, associates and affiliates represented by the two alliances. Novation also provides contracting services to 10,000 health care and education customers of Provista, a group purchasing and business solutions organization jointly owned by VHA and UHC.

Novation employs approximately 300 people in Irving, Texas, who consistently seek innovative ways to deliver greater value to the health care organizations we serve.

We offer an extensive range of advanced contracting services including: contract development, contract and supplier management, custom contracting, enhanced savings programs, online contract management and analytical tools, order management and online supplier connectivity.

We work with hospital executives, physicians, nurses, materials managers, pharmacists and others to identify improvement opportunities and put in place solutions that make a difference for patients and their families.
