Novation Signs Agreement with SR Instruments Through Supplier Diversity Program
IRVING, TX; May 16, 2006 Novation, the health care contracting services company of VHA Inc., and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), has signed an agreement with SR instruments, a small, veteran-owned business, for scales. The agreement began on May 15, 2006 and runs through May 14, 2007.
The agreement was awarded through Novation’s Supplier Diversity Program evaluation process. The program is committed to supporting minority-, women and small, veteran-owned businesses that meet high-quality standards.
Novation’s Supplier Diversity Program generated $56.4 million in member purchases in 2005, a 60 percent growth over 2004, and nearly $163 million since the inception of the program. In 2005, members spent a total of $1.4 billion with small businesses including $56.4 million with diverse businesses.
