Novation Signs Agreement with MedVantage Inc. Through Its Supplier Diversity Program

IRVING, TX; March 21, 2007 — Novation, the health care services company of VHA Inc., and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), two national health care alliances, has signed an agreement with MedVantage Inc., for sterilization load labeling, patient charge labeling and tray tracking. The agreement is effective now through February 28, 2010.

The agreement was awarded through Novation’s Supplier Diversity Program which is committed to supporting and creating opportunities for certified minority, women and veteran-owned businesses that meet high-quality standards.

In 2006, Novation’s Supplier Diversity Program generated more than $75 million in member purchases. The program has generated $230 million in purchases for diversity suppliers since its inception in 1999.
