DeLuca Joins Novation as VP, Contract and Program Services
IRVING, TX; September 27, 2007 Novation, the health care contracting services company of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), has hired Jarrod DeLuca as vice president, contract and program services. DeLuca officially joined Novation on August 1, 2007.
In his role, DeLuca has responsibility for Novation’s medical-surgical distribution programs.
“Jay’s clinical knowledge, combined with his expertise in marketing and business development, make him well-suited to lead Novation’s medical-surgical distribution program,” said Dan Sweeney, senior vice president of contract and program services at Novation.
DeLuca joined Novation with more than 12 years of marketing, sales and business development experience within the health care and service industries. Prior to joining Novation, DeLuca served as vice president of Tyco Healthcare, where he had responsibility for sales, marketing and management strategies for the Kendall SharpSafety Division and previously held key roles in sales, marketing, business development and product management.
DeLuca holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.
