Stanley Joins Novation as VP, Contract and Program Services

IRVING, TX; September 27, 2007 — Novation, the health care contracting services company of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), has hired Kevin Stanley as vice president, contract and program services. Stanley officially joined Novation on July 16, 2007.

In his role, Stanley has responsibility for Novation’s private label, NOVAPLUS®, standardization and non-acute programs.

“Kevin is a proven business leader with a unique blend of pharmaceutical knowledge and hands-on business development and marketing expertise. His impressive track record will be a valuable asset to these important Novation programs,” said Larry McComber, senior vice president of contract and program services at Novation.

With more than 14 years of marketing, sales and business development experience within the pharmaceutical industry, Stanley most recently served as director of global market development, marketing consumer products for Alcon Laboratories, where he played a key role in developing the Dry Eye franchise to advance the treatment of eye disease. He also held senior positions with Pharmion Corporation and Hoechst Marion Roussel, where he was responsible for the development, positioning and promotion of pharmaceutical products and programs.

Additionally, Stanley has served as president, UMKC Pharmacy Foundation, Board of Directors and is currently a board member. He served on the AMA’s National Task Force on CME Provider/Industry Collaboration and is a recipient of the UMKC Pharmacy Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award and a Phi Lambda Sigma National Honor Society Alumni.

A licensed pharmacist, Stanley holds a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University and a bachelor of science degree in pharmaceutical science from the University of Missouri.
