Novation Awards Multisource Agreement to IBSA, Mobile Aspects and Stanley InnerSpace for Passive RFID Inventory Management Systems
IRVING, TX; January 13, 2010 – Novation, the supply contracting company of VHA Inc, University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista, announced that it has awarded a multisource agreement to International Business Solutions Alliance (Dayton, OH), Mobile Aspects (Pittsburgh, PA), and Stanley InnerSpace (Grand Rapids, MI) for the emerging technology of Passive RFID Inventory Management Systems.
The RFID Inventory Management Systems provides potential cost reductions through enhanced control of inventory reducing expired inventory, reduced PAR levels and reduced staff time. The systems automatically collect information on the products being utilized. Many hospitals currently using these types of system are reporting significant reductions in supply costs and an ROI in less than twelve months. In awarding RFID Inventory Management System, Novation continues to add tools to support its member hospitals better manage their supply chain costs.
The agreement is effective through October 31, 2012. Two one-year extension options are available.

- Inventory Management Software
- RFID Tag Programmers and Tags
