Novation Awards Multisource Agreement to Davol Inc., Ethicon, Covidien and W.L. Gore For Synthetic Surgical Mesh
IRVING, TX; January 20, 2010 – Novation, the healthcare industry's leading supply contracting company, today announced that it has awarded a multisource agreement to Davol Inc. (Cranston, R.I.), Ethicon (Somerville, NJ), Covidien (Mansfield, MA) and W.L. Gore (Tempe, AZ) for synthetic surgical mesh.
The agreement is effective February 1, 2010 — January 31, 2013, with two one year extension options. The following products will be available to the members of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista:
- General Surgical Mesh
- Flat Sheet Mesh
- Three Dimensional Mesh
- Basic ePTFE Mesh
- Specialty Surgical Mesh
- Composite Prosthetic Implants
- Collagen Mesh Products
- Mesh Fixation Products
