Novation Awards multisource agreement with Afflink, AmSan, Network Services, Strategic Market Alliance, Unisource and Xpedx for Housekeeping distribution

IRVING, TX; January 28, 2010 – Novation, the healthcare industry's leading supply contracting company, today announced that it has awarded a multisource agreement to Afflink (Tuscaloosa, AL), AmSan (Omaha, NE), Network Services (Mount Prospect, IL), Strategic Market Alliance (Oak Brook, IL) , Unisource (Norcross, GA) and Xpedx (Cincinnati, OH) for Housekeeping distribution

The agreements are effective February 1, 2010 – January 31, 2015, with two one year extension options. Under the terms of the deal, these companies will provide the following to members of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista:

• soaps and lotions
• disinfectants and cleaners
• floor care products
• deodorizers
• sanitary paper
• can liners
• general service products
• miscellaneous housekeeping products
• service equipment
