Novation's competitive contract process meets the supply chain management needs of more than 2,400 VHA and UHC member organizations and more than 12,000 Provista customers by awarding agreements to suppliers that provide the best quality products and demonstrate broad-based clinical acceptability at the optimal total value to members.
All supplier proposals are evaluated based on a set of objective financial and nonfinancial evaluation factors. Contracts are awarded to suppliers offering the best overall value. Members provide extensive input regarding criteria used in contract development and awards.
Through Novation’s contract process, members are able to achieve administrative and operating efficiencies while complying with competitive contracting requirements. Member participation in Novation contracts is purely voluntary, so our goal is to always provide market-leading value to members.
